The more than 100 existing Greenways in our country run by former disused railway lines. With a slope less than 3% always makes them ideal for the practice of cycling at any age.
The Greenway runs along an old mining branch of almost 20 km, which will be accompanied for the first 12 km of the river Huéznar and gallery forest. You can visit the Natural Monument "Cascades Martinete", the source of the river, mining town, completing the route in the largest and most visited of Andalusia Natural Monument, "Cerro del Hierro", a coral reef with 450,000,000 Paleozoic years of antiguaty.
